About us Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Sweden (CCEP Sweden) is the local licensed bottling partner responsible for the manufacture, distribution, sales and industry marketing of Coca-Cola throughout Sweden. The company employs around 750 people at the facility (called "Happiness Factory") in Haninge outside Stockholm, where Coca Cola AB also operates. CCEP Sweden represents some of the beverage world's strongest brands such as Coca-Cola, Fanta and Sprite, but also strong local brands such as Bon Aqua and Mer. In addition, CCEP Sweden manufactures and distributes beverages to other brand owners, including Capri-Sun and Monster Energy.
The Position We are looking for a strong customer oriented leader to the Commercial Marketing Department, heading up one of our core customer marketing teams, for "Away from Home" (AFH) channel. This is a key role within the department with responsibility for managing and developing category management and activation strategy, to unlock profitable expansion of our portfolio and create a vision for future growth for AFH channel and customers. As a leader within the company you will also have an ownership of overarching projects for Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Sweden business plan. Employees, customer focus, profitability and sustainability are four key areas for the role.
You will be part of the marketing leadership team and report to Director, Commercial Marketing Sweden. You will also be part of the Swedish Extended Leadership team.
As Associate Director, Customer Marketing Away from Home you will be accountable for developing and implementing the insights-based category strategy, channel plans and marketing activation in close collaboration with the brand & customer teams. The Swedish Commercial Marketing function is a fast paced and professional team that consists of total 30 people. You will lead a team of 6 people, including Senior Manager, Category & Marketing strategy, Category Manager and Customer Marketing Managers working across the Away from Home sub trade channels, including E-commerce.
You have key stakeholders in most parts of the business; virtual customer teams, KAM, portfolio & brand development team, category and customer marketing Home team, Strategy & Insights, RGM, Field Sales and your counterparts in Europe. It is also essential to build strong relationship with The Coca-Cola Company, and external stakeholders such as agencies.
CCEP also places great emphasis on you as a leader supporting your team members' individual skill development. Developing the organization and people is just as important as driving the business' financial KPIs, both to continue securing long-term competitiveness for CCEP and our brands on the market.
Tasks and responsibilities
Responsible for category management strategy and implementation at AFH customers
Responsible for the activation strategy in AFH Sub trade channels, creating a clear vision for growth of the soft drinks category and our brands
Lead the development of customer marketing plans
Support and develop the WCKAM (World Class Key Account Management) Ways of Working and the development of joint business plans with customers together with KAM
Look of Success for each channel to realize the potential of the portfolio
Understand market, shopper, customer and commercial needs
Lead the integration of the activation agenda into the annual planning process
Responsible for communication & prioritization of activities to KAM, Field Sales & customers
Coach and lead a great team and help them grow, achieve targets and continue developing
Budget and P&L responsibility
Background and experience
Experience from FMCG and brands, portfolio, shopper marketing and/or category development
Relevant education within Marketing or Business
Solid leadership experience
Strong communications skills in Swedish and English, both oral and written
Personal characteristics
Structured and strategic leader who sets clear objectives as well as make strong priorities for the team
As a leader you are inclusive, engaged and proactive
Strong focus on delivering commercial results, supported by measurement, analytics and continuous improvement
